I really needed the spiritual strength this trip gave me.  When I came home, my family was a mess.  So grateful I had this experience to remember and crawl back into when I needed to feel some happy.

This year's must-have
Mel was so excited about her Cabbage Patch doll.  She and Jen both had dolls for Christmas and they both named them "Jessica."

ahhhhh.
Little cousin Heather was born two days after Christmas.  Here she is, trying out the sun cure for her jaundice.

This year at camp was really fun, and eye-opening - I began to notice the difference between the other girls who brought all their hair stuff and makeup and cute clothes to camp (check the polo shirts under the camp t-shirts) and me, who couldn't care less.

Trip to Uncle Raymond & Aunt Ramona's

This summer I took a trip with Neenaw and Gran to visit Uncle Raymond and Aunt Ramona in Montana. It was fun having "alone time" with them.  This was a long trip, from our home in Brookings, Oregon to central Montana, and I kept busy recording all the county names as we passed through each new county (signs of geekdom were apparent).

LOVED this three-wheeler. I tried taking it up a steep hill once and was lucky just to get stuck, instead of rolling end-over-end back down the hill.
